Ozzy Osbourne has begun "Heavy Training" for final Black Sabbath show

Ozzy Osbourne is ramping up for Black Sabbath’s final show,  with the singer revealing that he’s begun physical training in preparation for the gig.

​

Though Ozzy’s already stated he intends to only sing “little bits and pieces” with Sabbath, the 76-year-old metal legend also plans to perform his final solo set, making for a full day on July 5th in Birmingham. The “Back to the Beginning” concert at Villa Park will also feature sets by Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Tool, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Alice in Chains, and more.

In discussion with co-host Billy Morrison on SiriusXM’s “Ozzy Speaks” program, the Prince of Darkness said that he’s started “heavy training” for what will be his first full show since 2018.
